Our fabulous Margot is an a-line skirt, defined by its clean lines and smooth silhouette - fitted at the natural waist, it skims over the hips with a small flare that continues either to the knee or the ankle depending on your personal preference.

You can even take it up to a mini if you're feeling funky! Suitable fabrics for this pattern include: cotton, poplin, cotton lawn and lightweight wool. Great for all year round wear, choose bright and colourful patterns for a more personal take or go formal with grownup prints or textures.

Margot is another ideal beginner's design featuring only simple darts, cutaway pockets, a lapped zip and separate waistband piece.
